Install new doors and openers project
Project Type: New garage door installation project
Project Address: Chaska, MN
Project Description:
Our team recently completed a complete garage door replacement for a residential property in Chaska, Arizona. This project involved removing an aging, worn-out door and installing a modern, fully insulated sectional garage door engineered to improve energy efficiency, operation, and structural strength.
The project began with the safe teardown and removal of the existing door, track system, and hardware. Our technicians carefully un-wound the old torsion springs under tension, unbolted the tracking network, and disposed of the old door panels. Once the opening was cleared down to the rough framing, we inspected the jambs and header for structural integrity, ensuring a plumb, level foundation before mounting the new assembly.
To combat the intense heat and thermal transfer typical of the Arizona climate, we installed a heavy-duty, fully insulated steel garage door. The multi-layer insulated panels provide exceptional thermal resistance ($R$-value), significantly reducing heat buildup inside the garage space and lowering cooling strain on adjacent living areas. We mounted new heavy-gauge vertical and horizontal tracks, installed upgraded nylon rollers for whisper-quiet operation, and set up a balanced torsion spring system calibrated to the precise weight of the insulated door.
To complete the installation, we fitted high-performance perimeter weather seals along the top, sides, and bottom of the opening, blocking out desert dust, wind, and heat infiltration.
By replacing an uninsulated, outdated unit with a high-efficiency insulated door system, we delivered a sleek exterior upgrade that enhances home security and climate control. This project highlights our technical precision in residential garage door replacements and energy-efficient retrofits.
